SteadyUs is operated by SteadyUs as the data controller. We are committed to privacy as a core principle. We collect only the minimum data necessary to provide our service, and we never sell, share, or monetize your personal information.

What We Collect

• Account Information: Your email address and optional display name for authentication purposes.
• Check-In Entries: The daily and quarterly reflections you choose to save. These are encrypted and accessible only to you.
• Basic Usage Data: Minimal analytics to ensure the service works properly (no tracking of your content).

What We Don't Collect

• We don't read or analyze your check-in content
• We don't use your data for advertising
• We don't share your information with third parties for marketing
• We don't track your behavior across other websites

Data Retention

We retain your data only as long as needed:

• Active accounts: Data stored indefinitely while your account is active
• Deleted entries: Permanently removed within 30 days
• Deleted accounts: All data permanently erased within 30 days

Your Rights (GDPR)

If you're in the EU/EEA, you have the right to:

• Access your personal data: Use the JSON export feature in Settings
• Correct inaccurate data: Edit your profile anytime
• Delete your data: Settings → Delete Account removes everything
• Data portability: Export all entries as JSON
• Withdraw consent: Delete your account at any time

Your Control

You have complete control over your data:

• Export: Download all your entries as JSON at any time from Settings
• Delete: Remove individual entries or clear all data instantly
• Account Deletion: Permanently delete your account and all associated data

Payment Processing

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com (Paddle), who acts as the Merchant of Record for all our orders. When you subscribe to SteadyUs Pro, Paddle collects and processes your payment information, handles tax compliance, and manages invoicing on our behalf. We do not store your payment card details.

Paddle's handling of your personal data is governed by their Privacy Policy.

Data Security

Your data is stored securely with industry-standard encryption. Access to your entries requires authentication, and all data transmission uses HTTPS encryption.

Tracking & Advertising

We do not track you across other apps or websites. We do not use advertising identifiers (IDFA/GAID). We do not participate in any ad networks or use any tracking SDKs.
